Seminar Schedule WITS – Wichita Industrial Trade Show

One of the reasons we have the WITS Show is for the exchange of ideas. At pasts WITS Shows, we have had knowledgeable speakers on a variety of subjects .  It is a good place to see the future and get your questions answered.  All seminars are free.

All the seminars are now upstairs,  take the stairs in the registration area and go upstairs and go North to Rooms 201 A and Room 201B  th e seminars which were down stairs in 101A are now upstairs in 201A and like wise the seminars which were in 101B are now upstairs in 201B.

ALLIED OIL

TOPIC – Predictive and Preventative Maintenance

Presenter : Joshua L. Roberts

Topic of Discussion:  Oil analysis is a routine activity for analyzing oil health, oil contamination and machine wear. The purpose of an oil analysis program is to verify that a lubricated machine is operating according to expectations. When an abnormal condition or parameter is identified through oil analysis, immediate actions can be taken to correct the root cause or to mitigate a developing failure.

ACIETA

IS NOW THE TIME TO GET A COBOT (Automation & Robots)

Presenter – JAKE CORNING

Technological advances in collaborative robots for industrial manufacturing have made implementation and operation faster and easier than ever before. Jake Corning from Acieta will discuss two real Midwestern job shops whose recent steps into automation.

Topic of Discussion:

During this presentation, you’ll learn how to:

1.    Identify signs that you need to add a cobot to your operation.

2.    Debunk robot myths

Acieta

Adapt your Manufacturing Process:  Do More With Less

Nick Cowell ,  Regional Automation Manager for Acieta

Topic of Discussion:

Manufacturers today face a major paradox: high demand for faster lead time and a dwindling workforce. Integrating robotic automation into your manufacturing process frees up floor space and increases productivity, all with fewer workers. Acieta will expand on the benefits of robotic automation and how to choose the right robotics integrator. Mark will share real-world examples of how automation has helped Acieta customers address labor shortages, increase capacity, and position their business for future growth.

Key takeaway point:

How do you set yourself apart from other companies to attract and keep good workers? Hire a robot to do the dirty, dull and repetitive stuff.
