The Tools and Technology to Compete in a Global Market Place
WITS Wichita Industrial Trade Show – Established in 1974, it has become a significant marketplace in the heartland of Mid-America for buyers, manufacturing sources, industrial material, machinery and equipment. The show offers a dual opportunity for exhibitors from all sectors of our industrial community to present their products and services and for professionals of all levels to view the exhibits and talk to the factory experts. The show is held every other year.
In 2013, 2015, 2017, and 2019 Wichita Industrial Trade Show were sold out with good attendance. We are planning a great show for 2023.
Volunteers from The Institute for Supply Management – Wichita and The Society of the Advancement of Manufacturing have worked together to put the show on for years. We also have volunteers from the manufacturing community and Wichita State University.
These people volunteer because they want the manufacturing industry to have the knowledge to continue and improve. If you would like to volunteer please contact Don Lenhart at 316-573-7690 or Gene Sharp 316-304-1515.
The WITS show is a non-profit fund raiser to support the associations and community projects. Specifically, money from the show is used for scholarships at colleges and universities, various educational materials for Middle and High Schools, and sponsoring professional seminars.
Show management has only (1) part-time paid employee, the rest of the work force is provided solely by volunteers including employees of various companies in the community and retirees.
We appreciate the time, energy and money it cost the exhibitors to bring machines and services to this Mid-West market place.
We wish to thank Andrea Sharp for many of the pictures on the slide show.
