If 208v or 480v voltage is required then the exhibitor must turn in an “APPLICATION FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE” form to the WITS office.

Exhibitors are NOT allowed to make any electrical connection which are above 110 V to Century II. All connections are made by site-authorized electricians and MUST be requested at the WITS office before the show or during set-up. A licensed and authorized electrician at your expense must make the actual connection(s) of the 208v Single-phase or the 208v and 480v 3-phase sources. An electrical company will be available at the show during set-up and tear down of the booths. Their charge is based on time and material. The electrical request is how the electrician will pre-plan their work, they will have a table for request during setup and to communicate your needs. We create an electrical drawing before the show because of the loads and where we can get a connection to the building grid.

It is very important to get the Electrical Service Request form into the WITS office, even if you do not know exactly which machines you are going to bring. If we know that they will be 208V or 480V that is a big help.

THE WITS SHOW TAKES A LOT OF WORK AND COORDINATION TO GET THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO EVERY MACHINE BY TUESDAY MORNING. WE HAVE TO PLAN AHEAD SO EVERYONE CAN BE HOOKED UP.
