Air Information

6 CFM of Compressed air at 70psi (minimum) 125 max (normally between 100 – 110 PSI), Can be furnished to your booth,if requested. However we can supply more air as needed. This show takes a lot of air so we need your help to contact the WITS office before the show and let us know which booth number needs air (fill out the (“WITS Request for Air in Booth) . Since most of the air comes from overhead off the catwalks, we have to run the air hoses on Friday andSaturday before the show.

We have two compressors to provide the massive amounts of air needed. A 75HP compressor in the Basement of CenturyII and a compressor in the  Ingersoll-Rand booth.

The Exhibitor has to provide the hose from WITS Show disconnect to the Exhibitor’s machine(s). The WITS volunteer air staff will not hook the air to the machines. This is a ¼ inch “industrial style” plug which should be on the end of the Exhibitors hoses to plug into the WITS air system hose.

For exhibitors who require more air we have 1/2 and 3/4 inch air coupling.

Electric Information

Century II Expo Hall has:

Single phase 110v 208v
3 – phase 208v 480v

Each booth will have access to (1) 20 amp 110 v receptacle within 30 ft. from the rear of their booth. Exhibitor must bring extension cords and plug in strips to accommodate their needs. If voltage above the 110v floor plug is required, exhibitor must turn in an “APPLICATION FOR ELECTRICAL SERVICE” form to the WITS office.

Exhibitors are NOT allowed to make any electrical connection which are above 110 V to Century II. All connections are made by site-authorized electrician and can be requested at the WITS office before the show or during set-up. A licensed and authorized electrician at your expense must make the actual connection(s) of the 208v Single-phase or the 208 and 480 3-phase sources. An electrical company will be available at the show during set-up and teardown of the booths. Their charge is based on time and material. The electrical request is how the electrician will pre-plan their work they will have a table for request during setup and to communicate your needs.

It is very important to get the Electrical Service Request form into the WITS office, even if you do not know exactly which machines you are going to bring. If we know that they will be 208V or 480V that is a big help. The Application for Electrical Service forms where with the contracts package an are a separate form.

THE WITS SHOW TAKES A LOT OF WORK AND COORDINATION TO GET THE ELECTRICAL SERVICE TO EVERY MACHINE BY TUESDAY MORNING. WE HAVE TO PLAN AHEAD SO EVERYONE CAN BE HOOKED UP.
