Freight  shipped  or received for the 2011 WITS – Wichita Industrial Trade Show

 (note this page will be up dated be sure to check it before the show for the latest correct information)
 
 
The unloading dock is on the West side of Expo Hall at Century II  225 West Douglas Wichita Ks.    The service drive is  south off Douglas  at the Waco intersection.     Check out the unloading dock page.
 
All boxes, crates and display cases need to have the following information.

The unloading dock will be available starting on Friday October 14th  after  8:00 am.  
 
Dock hours:
Friday        Oct 14th.   8:00 am  -    4:00 pm
Saturday   Oct 15th    8:00 am   -    5:00 pm
Sunday     Oct 16th     ?????
Monday     Oct 17th    8:00 am   -    8:00 pm
Tuesday    Oct 18th     8:00 am  -  12:00 noon
 
The Dock is closed during the show
 
Thursday  Oct 20th    4:15 pm.   -    9:00 pm
Friday        Oct 21st    8:00 am    -    4:30 pm
Saturday   Oct 22nd  8:00 am    -   11:00 am
 
It is also suggested to take a picture of  each box,  crate etc in your shipment .    The volunteers of the WITS Show who man the docks are providing a free service  in getting the crates and boxes to the exhibitors booth,   but the exhibitor is responsible  for these shipped items.   Boxes without booth numbers can be a huge problem.
 

If you need to ship in exhibit boxes, crates and display cases before Friday October 14th then contact the  Henry HelgersonCo.  Who can receive your shipment and delivery it on Friday to Century II.

If you have boxes, crates and exhibit containers which are going to be ship out from Century II on Thursday   Oct  20th4:30 pm till 9:00 pm or Friday Oct 21st by common carrier or parcel company and the exhibitor will not be present to see that the freight is loaded  and the exhibitor has made all  arrangements with the parcel or freight company.  Then do the following:

1. Besureall shipment documentations are  with the crates and boxes with correct labels.
 
2. Go the theWITS  Exhibitor information booth number  947 by the show entrance.
          Give the following information:
           * Booth Number
           * Exhibitor who is sending the freight
           * Phone number of sender
           * Parcel or freight company picking up the freight
           * Time and date of pickup
 
3. Leave the boxes and crates in the Exhibitor’s booth  unless instructed otherwise.
     
   When the freight company or parcel company comes the WITS Volunteers will bring your freight  to the dock for ship out.
